of historical heritage at Badami cave temples are inscriptions in old Kannada script.
Gulbarga Fort:
This is the most wonderful and charming monument in Gulbarga, Karnataka. This grand fort
was built by the ruler of Gulbarga, who was Raja Gulchand. The fort itself has 15 towers. Inside
the fort you can find the fort premises, ancient temples, and outstanding mosques. Large
buildings, carriages and stable, are found within the fort premises. You will also see big and
spacious courtyards, corridors and halls.
Tipu's Fort :
In Bangalore lies the leftovers of Tipu's Fort - a silent evidence of Tipu's battle against British
regime. The fort was constructed during 1781-179 and was the summer dwelling of Tipu
Sultan. It is a two-storied wooden structure, carved out of Teakwood with decked pillars,
concave arches and balconies. Today the fort house is a museum adorned with earliest artifact
of Hyder-Tipu regime.
