Part 3


         My career research choice is Sonography Technician and I pick this career choice

because I feel extremely interested in this work and to me this career choice describes

everything I am and everything I want to be for hopefully the rest of my life. In this
career

choice of Sono Tech, types of duties are Records and stores suitable images, using
camera

unit connected to the ultrasound equipment. Observes screen during scan to ensure the

image produced is satisfactory for diagnostic purposes, making adjustments to equipment
as required. Observes and cares for patients throughout examinations to ensure their
safety

and comfort. Provides sonogram and oral or written summary of technical findings to

physician for use in medical diagnosis. Being able to do light lifting and understand

patients and basically care about what you do I feel its al me. The type of degree I will

need is simply a 2year AS degree. As far as the pay to me its pretty good especially for

starters 45,115, then of course higher pay rate with more experience $64,126. This pay

rate is actually a little more than what I thought and im happier it more. Because I was

expecting that since its just a 2 year requirement with pretty much basic skills that the
rate

would be a little less but I guess not and I wont complain. Internet Sites

they have with this type of career choice. and it also help me to decide what route I

wanted to take.

Being able to do light lifting and understand patients and basically care about what you do I feel its al me. The type of degree I will need is simply a 2year AS degree. As far as the pay to me its pretty good especially for starters 45,115, then of course higher pay rate with more experience $64,126. This pay rate is actually a little more than what I thought and im happier it more. Because I was expecting that since its just a 2 year requirement with pretty much basic skills that the rate would be a little less but I guess not and I wont complain.
