AGENTS OF CHANGE
“If anyone cleanses himself . . . , he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified
and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. ” (2 Timothy 2:21)
W ith 4 years of seminary under my belt, I walked into my first ministry with a long
agenda. As a new pastor, I thought I was there to change that place. Instead,
God used that place to change me.
The board members were supportive, but they relentlessly kept my feet to the fire in
administrative details. I needed to learn how to work with lay leadership, how to be careful
in my work, and how to dream with others.
We often think God has assigned us to change the world around us when in reality He
is interested in changing us. Why? To make each of us “a vessel for honor, sanctified and
useful for the Master, prepared for every good work” (2 Tim. 2:21). God often uses the most

2. unlikely people in the most unlikely places to teach us some of life’s most difficult lessons.
And just when we think we’ve arrived, He is instructing us further.
Not long ago I entered a new season of ministry. I may be a “seasoned veteran,” but I’m
still learning, still growing, and still amazed at how God continues to shape this vessel for
His noble purposes.
What changes we would love to make
In others’ lives, for Jesus’ sake!
But first we must learn at His feet
The things that will make us complete.
Only when we are changed can we be
agents of change.
To begin our prayer time together, we ask you to repeat this prayer with us each day...
“O gracious and heavenly Father, in name of Jesus Christ I pray for Pastor Avinash
and Rajiv and every member of their families and the entire staff of Well Fortified
Intercessors Army and Living God Group and their families. Lord keeps them safe
from all the evil powers and no harm should come to them and every one who are
working in the ministry. Lord Jesus guides each step and shows the right path on
which they will take. Dear Father God you have called them to do your will. Protect
them and guide them in whatever they do. I pray shower your blessings on them so
that they will be able to fulfill the work of our Lord Jesus Christ. Father God give
them strength and power and health. My heavenly Father keeps them away from all
kinds of dangers and gives them shelter under your wings. In the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ, I command a hedge of protection to be around their home and property
today and I ask that warrior angels sent by the you true Father God would be placed
to stand guard at any holes that might be in that hedge. I place the full armors of God
on them, and I ask that the light of the Lord Jesus shine through them this day. In
the name of Jesus I ask-Amen”
Pray specifically today for people you know who need to know the saving and healing
power of Jesus Christ in their lives. Many people are suffering – spiritually, emotionally, and
physically – let us stand before our Mighty God today on their behalf!

have called them to do.”

The Best Vegetarian Meat Substitutes for Your Cookout
Being Vegan or Vegetarian Doesn't Have to Mean Missing Out at
Holiday Barbeques!
H oliday cookouts don't have to be tricky for vegetarians and their hosts.
Vegetarian and vegan guests can choose from a wide variety of meat
substitutes to get that summer barbeque taste without the meat. While a green salad
packed with nutritious veggies can be a great starter, it no longer has to be the only
vegetarian or vegan food option at outdoor gatherings.
These meatless alternatives offer something for every palate:
Tofurky Italian Sausage: Bring enough of this vegan treat for yourself, a guest, and
curious carnivores. It's grill-friendly, and tasty enough to tempt a meat
eater. Best served with onions and green peppers, or topped with
some marinara sauce, it can also be microwaved or cooked on the
stove. Made from organic soybeans, it has half the fat of a similar
pork product, a third of your daily fiber requirement, and 29 grams of
protein in a single sausage. Tofurky also makes a meat-free kielbasa.
Quorn Naked Chik'n Cutlet: Quorn makes a realistic chicken substitute to throw on the
grill, great for when everyone else is eating wings or barbecue
chicken. Made from a mushroom-derived protein, this vegetarian
cutlet contains only 80 calories. Top it with some Annie's Naturals
BBQ Sauce - the organic Hot Chipotle is especially delicious - and
you'll fit right in with the carnivores. If barbeque isn't your thing, you
can top a salad with the sliced cutlets, or use them in a wrap.
Boca Burgers: Boca makes excellent burgers for both vegans and vegetarians. Options
include several varieties of veggie patties and the more meat-like
burger patties. Vegan patties are available, and the cheeseburger
dotted with cheddar is a fabulous option for lacto- vegetarians.
While not all of Boca's products are free of GMOs (genetically
modified organisms), the company does offer some items made
from organic soy.
