Our challenge has been to bring four distinct
groups (Community, School, Nursery and
Children’s Centre) together in a new environment,
creating a coherent sense of shared community
whilst still respecting the individual identity of
each group.

Transforming the dilapidated pier to
reclaim its status as a recreational
landmark for the local South Beach, Miami
community, whilst protecting marine life.

4. Nabta Town Library
Egypt
A multiuser learning facility that caters to
the needs of both the public and students
from nearby academic facilities. Our
design encourages the user to ponder,
innovate and explore.

5. Baku White City
Azerbaijan
Our vision looks to achieve regeneration
through the creation of a cohesive,
carefully planned sustainable urban
environment, offering distinct character
and a high quality of life for its residents.

6. Nanjing Waterfront Landscape
Planning and Design
China
Revitalised a scenic waterfront and
green belt zone along the Yangtze
River in Nanjing City for an
International Design Competition.
Atkins was awarded the first prize.

7. Songjiang Shimao
Intercontinental Hotel
China
We’re transforming an abandoned quarry
into a sustainable luxury resort by
incorporating the structure into the
surrounding environment seamlessly.
