2)Preview the entire video so that you have the opportunity to prepare appropriate questions for your students, which will inspire critical thinking. Free Template from www.brainybetty.com 3
	3) Consider having students write about the concepts being taught and viewed in the video.  Videos tend to have a more emotional or psychic component than lectures. 	You may find students more ready to compose a written narrative upon viewing a video. Free Template from www.brainybetty.com 4
Videos can be used in face-to-face, hybrid or fully online courses as discussion starters.  They can also be used as critique /evaluation instruments.  For instance you can have a student videotape his own classroom presentation and then post this to Teacher Tube for peers to evaluate him using established criteria/ rubrics. Discussion can follow.
