WaterLex was created in 2010, when a group of individuals lost confidence in the fact that current strategies in their respective field could efficiently respond to current water challenges. These individuals work with development, human rights and humanitarian entities. This group envisioned that solutions to these challenges could only emerge as a joint-effort from field experts, academics, diplomats, private and non-profit actors.
