WeGov is a cutting-edge toolbox allowing policy-
makers to utilize social networking sites’ potential for
assisting policy-making!
WeGov provides tools & components that support decision-makers to
better understand what citizens are saying in social networks:

Get posts, tweets, & comments from social networks, ready for
analysis

The WeGov field trials
WeGov_project WeGov is developed in close collaboration with a number of different
entities:
• the German Parliament, and the Federal Parliament of Nordrhein-
Westfalen in Germany;
• the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection
WeGov project
(IMCO) of the European Parliament;
• non-profit organisations, local authorities and political parties from
different EU countries.
These provide use cases, feedback and evaluation for the WeGov tool-
box.
