2. Introduction to Tesla Inc.
• Tesla, Inc. is a company which makes electric cars. Its facility based on
based in Palo Alto, California.
• It was started in 2003 by Martin Eberhard and Elon Musk. After a while,
Eberhard divided the company. As we know, nowadays Elon Musk is very
famous person. He is also co-founded PayPal, CEO of SpaceX, investor of
SolarCity and Hyperloop project. His one of the plan is to colonize on Mars.
Today, Elon Musk is the CEO.
• The Tesla name originally comes from Nikola Tesla. He was an inventor who
worked with electricity, the company was founded 56 years after Nikola
Tesla’s dead and they called, we are another innovative and pioneer Tesla.

3. History
• Some car companies that were trying to start making electric cars in
the early 2000's tried to make a car that wouldn't cost very much, so
that many people would buy it. But it is hard to for a new company to
make many of something for a low price in the beginning. Tesla
Motors had a different idea. They would make a very expensive, very
good looks electric car, and sell each one for a lot of money. Then
after they had made some money, they would start making cars that
weren't as expensive, and eventually they would make cheap electric
cars that most people could buy.

4. Present Situation
• Tesla Inc. is special company because
of technology and management. The
company CEO Elon Musk very
successful. Although the first years of
the company are not very good for
them, they are in very good
condition nowadays. Many
governments support electric
vehicles, they make tax incentives
and people's desire for innovative
vehicle design. These features make
Tesla unique company.

5. Technology
• Tesla has master of multiple technology domains,
including batteries, electric motors, sensors and
artificial intelligence. So that, the company has
many engineering fields. Batteries and electric
motors very special and effective, also these
structure and technologies are open for public like
an open source software. Company has many
licenses and patents about them technologies.
• Tesla makes electric induction motors with three
phases, four pole AC and copper rotor. Day by day
their motor and battery performance increasing,
and they make much more effective cars.

6. • They also aim software
engineering field, their cars are
fully autonomous, it means the car
can drive itself via its sensors,
cameras and artificial intelligence.

In the past days Tesla announced
that they used Nvidia's hardware. It
called GPU. (Graphical Processing
Unit). This car is a big innovation in
terms of the car industry because
this car has a computer and it is
doing a lot of processing tasks.

7. Models
• Model S
• Model S deliveries began on June 22, 2012. The first
delivery in Europe took place in August 2013. Deliveries in
China began in April 2014. First deliveries of the right-
hand-drive model destined for the UK, Australia, Hong
Kong and Japan came in 2014.
• Model X
• The Tesla Model X is a full-size crossover SUV. Model X
deliveries started in September 2015. It is offered in 5-, 6-
and 7-passenger configurations. Also, the car has
interesting feature. It called "falcon-wing" doors. The cars
doors open vertically. So, Thanks to this feature, the car
looks more sport than other models.

8. Summary
• In conclusion, there is not a very large history of Tesla compared to
other companies. It can be drawback for them because other
companies have much more experience then Tesla company. But,
everyday Tesla company becoming bigger, larger and successful. A
couple weeks ago they produced a car that can go 100km/h in
1.9seconds.
• Tesla is taking this success from the collaborative work of many
engineering and science branches. For instance, with the
aerodynamic help of mechanical engineers or the artificial
intelligence programming of software engineers meets in a vehicle.
That's why Tesla is one of the most admired company of our time.
They are constantly innovative and contribute a great deal to
technology. Thank you, Tesla.
