The increasing COVID-19 epidemic is posing an unprecedented challenge to
communities and businesses throughout the world. The worldwide community is
banding together to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing together governments,
organisations from many industries and sectors, and people to respond to this global
epidemic. The outpouring of worldwide sympathy and support prompted by our
common problem has been incredible. The World Health Organisation (WHO) is in
charge of leading and directing the worldwide effort, assisting nations in preventing,
detecting, and responding to the pandemic.
COVID-19 Pandemic Relief and UHR
The most vulnerable displaced refugees are those with poor health systems. Our
staff and partners on the ground are still responding to the health crisis by giving
crucial food aid, hygiene kits, sanitizer, and cleaning materials to individuals in need.
The World Health Organisation has classified the COVID-19 outbreak as a
pandemic. As the contagious Coronavirus spreads around the world, it poses a new
threat to millions of vulnerable refugees in Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan,
Yemen, and Myanmar. Refugees who are already battling the miseries of violence
and poverty. Today is the day when we take a stance. It is critical that we safeguard
the world's most vulnerable citizens.
COVID-19 Relief Funds
Many local, state, and international foundations have established COVID-19
pandemic relief funds to bridge key shortages in funding for organisations
responding to COVID-19 needs. According to Inside Philanthropy, there are more
than 100 COVID-19 reaction funds, with community foundations leading the way.

locating regional response funding.
World Health Organisation COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund
Supports COVID-19 pandemic relief practises and information, including
sophisticated European medical systems as well as those that are currently under-
resourced.
WaterAid.org
It employs handwashing and hygiene knowledge in over 30 countries to prevent the
spread of COVID-19. WaterAid provides water and handwashing infrastructure in

programs to include proper social distancing.
Plan International
works in over 75 countries to enhance children's rights and gender equality. Plan
International's reaction to COVID-19 is centred on disseminating public health

PIH is collaborating directly with ministries of health and other COVID-19 pandemic
relief organisations to prevent the virus's transmission and provide care. They are
supporting the state of Massachusetts with contact tracing in the United States.
Last Mile Health
Established in 2007 to provide health care in distant places, is collaborating with
governments, beginning with Liberia, to fulfil COVID-19 pandemic relief objectives
such as training, equipping, and mobilising community and frontline health workers.
