DESCRIPTION
This lovely home was designed as a
home-away-from-home. The intent
of the design was to emulate a rustic
turn-of-the-century mountain cabin
with a twist. Although rustic on the
exterior, the home surprises with
elegance mixed with rustic treatments
on the inside. The visual impact and
use of high-end finishes are found only
in the most exclusive, luxury custom
homes. The interior of the home with
its blend of stone, wood and plaster
welcomes you with a hearty Montana
embrace. Large windows and glass
walls combined with fine cowboy art,
turn this home into a true haven for its
owners and guests.

MEET THE BUILDER
Thanks to you, our valued customers,
Greg Bain & Company is one of the old-
est continuously operating design/build
companies in Northwest Montana. In fact,
this year we are celebrating 37 years of
building quality custom homes here in
the Flathead!
Our building tradition started three
generations ago when Greg’s father,
Richard, started a custom cabinet shop
that quickly expanded into homebuild-
ing. Greg started working with his father at
a very early age, discovering the passion
for building that his father exemplified. In
1976 upon Richard’s retirement, Greg took
up the torch and has continued delight-
ing customers with quality crafted custom
homes ever since.
Greg’s son, Matt, started with the com-
pany at an early age as well. After gaining
valuable experience operating his own
building company, Matt joined with his
dad full time in 2007. As vice-president
of Greg Bain & Company, Matt brings
three generations of experience and
design/build expertise to share with our
customers.

Welcome to the Gallatin Construction
Parade of Home entry-”Griz Country.”
Prepare yourself for rustic Montana
elegance at the southern tip of Flathead
Lake. The creation was a collaboration
between the energetic homeowners
and many local craftsmen to create a
comfortable place to live and entertain.
No stone was left unturned in creating
the desired western rustic ambiance
combining reclaimed timbers, log ac-
cents and native stone.
The combination of outdoor and in-
door living spaces allows one to enjoy
all of the seasons Polson has to offer.
As you approach the driveway your
attention is drawn to the “Ole Griz”
monument who rules over his domain.
Reaching the main entry of the home
your eyes catch the blend of stone,
wood and copper accents surrounding
the grand entry. One cannot help but
be captivated as they are invited inside
to enjoy the outstanding mountain vis-
tas and stunning lake views that await
you from every room.

In fact, this year we are celebrating 37 years of building quality custom homes here in the Flathead! Our building tradition started three generations ago when Greg’s father, Richard, started a custom cabinet shop that quickly expanded into homebuild- ing. Greg started working with his father at a very early age, discovering the passion for building that his father exemplified. In 1976 upon Richard’s retirement, Greg took up the torch and has continued delight- ing customers with quality crafted custom homes ever since. Greg’s son, Matt, started with the com- pany at an early age as well. After gaining valuable experience operating his own building company, Matt joined with his dad full time in 2007. As vice-president of Greg Bain & Company, Matt brings three generations of experience and design/build expertise to share with our customers.
