3. Interesting facts
● Creel members: Damien McCarthy & Colin Farrell.
● They met in 2004 when Colin was studying Music at the University of
Limerick.
● Over the next couple of years they did the odd gig together around
Europe.

4. Interesting facts
● They were then asked to move to America to be the house band at the
Raglan Road Irish Pub in Kansas City.
● After a year there, they moved down to the Raglan Road in Orlando
Florida.
● Creel have recently added two more musicians, Kieran Leahey and Matt
Antolic

5. Damian McCarthey facts :P
● From Askeaton, Ireland
● He comes from a very musical family
● Damien started playing guitar and singing when he was 8 years old and
he started doing his first solo gigs when he was 13
● He has toured all over Europe

6. Colin Farrell
● Born in Manchester in 1977
● His parents are from Galway & Cavan, Ireland
● Colin comes from a very musical family and his brothers and sisters
have won numerous All Ireland titles
● He Started playing the fiddle and tin whistle at the age of 7.
● Won numerous Fleadh Cheoils and other awards in the next few years.
● Started playing with St Malachy's ceili band when he was 12 years old.
● After that he recorded the album Mancunian Way.
● Since then has made a name for himself performing and recording with
an array of great musicians in Europe and the US.

7. How I(Raegan) started listening to them....
Although I did not start listening regularly until this year, I first heard them
when I went to Raglan Road Irish Pub in Downtown Disney in Disney World
with my family. My dad bought the cd and downloaded the songs onto the
computer and ended up on my IPod.

8. Why I like them... Will I continue listening to them.
I really enjoy listening to Irish music because it is different from pop or
rock. So this is why I told Jackie that we are doing this group. I sure will
continue listening to them but I don't know about Jackie so lets find out!
Jackie: I think that it is very different from what
I normally listen to so I probably will keep listening
to them.
