2.  Biodiesel, n - a fuel comprised of mono-alkyl esters of
long chain fatty acids derived from vegetable oils or
animal fats, designated B100, and meeting the
requirements of ASTM D 6751. It’s made through a
chemical process called transesterifacation whereby
glycerin is separated from the fats or vegetable oils
 Biodiesel is the name of a clean burning alternative fuel,
produced from domestic, renewable resources. Biodiesel
contains no petroleum, but it can be blended at any level
with petroleum diesel to create a biodiesel blend. It can be
used in compression-ignition (diesel) engines with little or
no modifications. Biodiesel is simple to use,
biodegradable, nontoxic, and essentially free of sulfur and
aromatics.

3.  Biodiesel is safe to handle and non-toxic.
 Emission from biodiesel have been shown to
contain less carbon monoxide (48% less),
particulate matter (47%), and hydrocarbons (67%)
the leading cause of localized smog.
 B100 reduces the cancer causing agents in
exhaust (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons PAH
and nitrated PAH) by 80%, B20 by 18%.
 Biodiesel acts as a better solvent adding needed
lubricity to diesel fuel and this will help clean out
old fuel tanks.
 Biodiesel is produced from domestic renewable
sources here in the Midwest.

4.  Biodiesel can be blended with petroleum
diesel in almost any concentration to meet
your performance needs.
 Market condition can and have reduced the
cost of biodiesel below that of conventional
diesel fuel.
 Fuel Mileage is almost identical to diesel fuel.
 You can adjust your blend of biodiesel to take
advantage of weather and market
opportunities, as well as switch back and
forth from Petroleum Diesel to Biodiesel.

5.  The ability to swap biodiesel with diesel fuel
makes the uses of biodiesel as versatile as
the diesel engine itself.

6. Biodiesel is Produced from: Soy Oil, Animal Tallow,
Corn Oil, Used Cooking Oil, Canola Oil, Palm Oil,
Sunflower Oil, Peanut Oil, Algae Oil, and new
feedstock's are being developed all of the time!
