-   Develop diplomatic relations with French authorities in Vietnam and with the Vietnamese Ministry of
    Education and Training,
-   Search, identify, select, negotiate with different suppliers (lawyer, IT maintenance, furniture,
    building...),
-   Recruit administrative staff, pre-select potential teachers and interveners,
-   Integrate ISIVIC within an international association of universities and colleges dedicated to arts, media
    and design (CUMULUS),
-   Research and study different potential partnerships with Vietnamese universities,
-   Redact different frameworks between ISIVIC and 2 French graphic design schools and between ISIVIC and
    potential Vietnamese university partner, different communication documents, school's regulations...
-   Study the Vietnamese education market, design a marketing plan
-   Prepare and implement a promotion plan with a direct marketing company,
-   Promote the school to professionals and students,
-   Advise the President/business owner on the business strategy to follow during and after my assignment.

Extract of the « Framework document »

The project
> what: the creation of a superior school of visual communication, equivalent to the French
  Superior Technical Diploma (“Brevet de Technicien Supérieur” : BTS) in Ha Noi ;
> by whom: by a professional of 25 years in visual communication (general manager of a
   visual communication company in France, teacher in high school, national jury for exams of
  the Ministry of Education and for the Ministry of Work and Employment );
> a clear philosophy: uncompromised demands resulting in a professional quality education
 to become a standard for the profession


Training for which students?
> school level: grade 12 minimum;
> minimum level in English: the courses will be in English;
> open to all countries;
> entrance exam;
> limited number of students :
        1st year: 55 students (2 classes)
        2nd year: 25 students (1 class)
        3rd year: 25 students (1 class).


Training in what?
This training is an adaptation of the French BTS.
Ultimately, the ambition of ISIVIC is to be validated by the French Ministry of Education to
award the French diploma BTS in Vietnam.
> 33 hours per week;
> 3 modules of 11 weeks per school year;
> 3 school years:
        1st year: introduction and preparation (IAP)
        2nd year: visual communication 1 (VC1)
        3rd year: visual communication 2 (VC2)
> workshops with foreign experts (professional graphic artists, French and other foreign
  teachers);
> 2 internships minimum (1 week and 4 weeks);
> exchanges with the BTS Visual Communication departments of a French college;
> plan for a 4th year of training in multimedia (in 3 or 4 years).


Training for what job?
> art director’s assistant in an advertising agency;
> working in a graphic design studio, or in communication services for a company or in
  administration;
> free lance graphic artist.

Title Executive Director Roles - Chief Representative - Business Development Facilitator Report to President / business owner Duties Manage all aspects related to: - “Setting up the company” - Preparing the “next steps” business development Context - Starting from scratch - Starting alone - South-Asian developing country => adjusting means to local reality Goal Undertaking all needed actions to make the President/business owner’s vision a reality during assignment. - Develop diplomatic relations with French authorities in Vietnam and with the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training, - Search, identify, select, negotiate with different suppliers (lawyer, IT maintenance, furniture, building...), - Recruit administrative staff, pre-select potential teachers and interveners, - Integrate ISIVIC within an international association of universities and colleges dedicated to arts, media and design (CUMULUS), - Research and study different potential partnerships with Vietnamese universities, - Redact different frameworks between ISIVIC and 2 French graphic design schools and between ISIVIC and potential Vietnamese university partner, different communication documents, school's regulations... - Study the Vietnamese education market, design a marketing plan - Prepare and implement a promotion plan with a direct marketing company, - Promote the school to professionals and students, - Advise the President/business owner on the business strategy to follow during and after my assignment.

Extract of the « Framework document » The project > what: the creation of a superior school of visual communication, equivalent to the French Superior Technical Diploma (“Brevet de Technicien Supérieur” : BTS) in Ha Noi ; > by whom: by a professional of 25 years in visual communication (general manager of a visual communication company in France, teacher in high school, national jury for exams of the Ministry of Education and for the Ministry of Work and Employment ); > a clear philosophy: uncompromised demands resulting in a professional quality education to become a standard for the profession Training for which students? > school level: grade 12 minimum; > minimum level in English: the courses will be in English; > open to all countries; > entrance exam; > limited number of students : 1st year: 55 students (2 classes) 2nd year: 25 students (1 class) 3rd year: 25 students (1 class). Training in what? This training is an adaptation of the French BTS. Ultimately, the ambition of ISIVIC is to be validated by the French Ministry of Education to award the French diploma BTS in Vietnam. > 33 hours per week; > 3 modules of 11 weeks per school year; > 3 school years: 1st year: introduction and preparation (IAP) 2nd year: visual communication 1 (VC1) 3rd year: visual communication 2 (VC2) > workshops with foreign experts (professional graphic artists, French and other foreign teachers); > 2 internships minimum (1 week and 4 weeks); > exchanges with the BTS Visual Communication departments of a French college; > plan for a 4th year of training in multimedia (in 3 or 4 years). Training for what job? > art director’s assistant in an advertising agency; > working in a graphic design studio, or in communication services for a company or in administration; > free lance graphic artist.
