2. MashAllah a band of bold brothers have taken
up the challenge to climb the
highest three peaks in the UK. The national
three peak challenge involves walking the
highest mountains - Ben
Nevis (Scotland 1344m), Scafell
Pike (England 978m) and
Snowdon (Wales1085m) within 24 hours. The
brothers will have to drive a some what
450miles by vehicle and 26 miles of mountain
walking with 10,000ft of ascent and descent.
This challenge on a normal beautiful summers
day would be a test on physical and mental
endurance, whereas this challenge will be
carried out on the 25th of December in the
xtreme cold, snowing, icy, windy and
dangerously traitorous conditions. To add,
most of the climbing will be done in the dark
due to the short daylight hour experienced in
the winter months.
