Tom Monaghan is the founder of Dominos
The story of Dominos started when two brothers started a small pizza shop
in
1907.
Tom Monaghan’s parents died when he was young, so he spent his childhood
with
relatives and in orphanage.
After so much difficulties Tom still managed to complete his studied any
how.
After graduation he collected funds by doing small jobs and then with his
brother he
started a little shop of pizza and named it DOMINIC’S PIZZA.
After few months his brother left the business as he was not interested in it.
After his brother left, tom faced many problems but he managed the
business very wisely.
At first he started home deliveries which pushed the business growth to 8%.
Further he also added many items in the menu which people liked the most.
SOMEIMPORTANTDATES…
1. 1965- As the business was growing steadily Tom changed the
name from DOMINIC’S PIZZA to DOMINOS PIZZA. And that
year he opened two more stores.
2. 1968- Tom’s first store was under huge fire due to which he had
huge loss. He never left hope, he instead opened 5 more stores.
3. 1970- Due to low sale and because of some legal problems
Dominos faced huge loss. But in 1973 Dominos boost up their
sale with concept of 30 minute delivery.
4. 1978- Till 1978 Dominos opened 200 outlets.
5. 1983- On 12th May 1983 Dominos opened his first International
store in Canada.
6. 2007- Dominos started online and mobile order facility and in
the very next year they introduced pizza tracker app which
boosted up and attracted more customers.
FUNDMANAGMENT
From 2017 to 2018 Domino’s revenue grew by over half a billion U.S.
dollars .
The company operates 16,000 stores worldwide of which the largest
shares is located in US.
Almost 5,900 Domino’s locations in US in 2018 only 390 are company-
owned, as the majority of Domino’s stores are franchised.
Domino’s Pizza generated a revenue of 3.43 billion U.S. dollars
worldwide in 2018. This figure has steadily increased over the past nine
years .
The company revenue saw 17% growth in FY 2017-18 from 200 crore to
300 crore.
CURRENTSENERIO
• The company has considerably stepped out its online Presence as a result of
which its online ordering contributes its overall sales increased from 51%in
2016-2019
• The company has also reduces losses in dunkin donut’s by focusing more
sharply on its global focus on donuts and coffee.
• The company claims the dunkin donuts will be profitable by 2019.
• Domino’s pizza segment with a network of 1249 dominos pizza restaurant across
276 cities in India in 2019.
CONCLUSION
• Domino’s is known for their best services.
• Employee’s behavior is major factor, which influences customer perception
most about pizza outlets.
• Followed by environment, parking space, intend external factors.
• Domino’s commitment to home delivery pizza has kept them up to the mark
and kept good customer loyalty.

• Keeping promise of 30 minutes delivery.
• Provide better quality of pizza.
• Sales people should be aware of all item and prices.
• There should be promotional activity to punch up online ordering.
• Improvement of ambience in outlets.
• Sales people provide attention to individual attention to individual customers
it will indeed build relationship help in increasing repeat purchase of
customers.

Tom Monaghan’s parents died when he was young, so he spent his childhood with relatives and in orphanage. After so much difficulties Tom still managed to complete his studied any how. After graduation he collected funds by doing small jobs and then with his brother he started a little shop of pizza and named it DOMINIC’S PIZZA. After few months his brother left the business as he was not interested in it. After his brother left, tom faced many problems but he managed the business very wisely. At first he started home deliveries which pushed the business growth to 8%. Further he also added many items in the menu which people liked the most.

And that year he opened two more stores. 2. 1968- Tom’s first store was under huge fire due to which he had huge loss. He never left hope, he instead opened 5 more stores. 3. 1970- Due to low sale and because of some legal problems Dominos faced huge loss. But in 1973 Dominos boost up their sale with concept of 30 minute delivery. 4. 1978- Till 1978 Dominos opened 200 outlets. 5. 1983- On 12th May 1983 Dominos opened his first International store in Canada. 6. 2007- Dominos started online and mobile order facility and in the very next year they introduced pizza tracker app which boosted up and attracted more customers.

Almost 5,900 Domino’s locations in US in 2018 only 390 are company- owned, as the majority of Domino’s stores are franchised. Domino’s Pizza generated a revenue of 3.43 billion U.S. dollars worldwide in 2018. This figure has steadily increased over the past nine years . The company revenue saw 17% growth in FY 2017-18 from 200 crore to 300 crore.
