- 12. • MIC@Cyberjaya believes that Open Innovation through Collaboration is the most pragmatic approach to bridge industry players with academics. Open innovation was first termed by Henry Chesbrough as “a paradigm that assumes that firms can and should use external ideas as well as internal ideas, and internal or external paths to market, as the firms look to advance their technology” • From July 2011 to January 2012, MIC@Cyberjaya embarked on a project to connect Visual Solutions, a leading Malaysia ISV, with Monash University to create a WP7 LOB App for flexHR, their Human Resource Management Solution.
- 13. And 2 of them founded a new Startup called Predicthing.com Jun 12 3 of them formed a team to compete in Imagine Cup Kazakhstan and obtained SECOND PLACE. May 12 The interns created 5 prototypes leveraging on Windows Azure, Windows 8, Windows Phone and Kinect Apr 12 MIC@Cyberjaya recruited 6 interns namely Mukhtar Sadykov, Sayed Mohamed, Mohamed Al- Khuzaie, Hamid Baghernia, Akarys Musabek and Hossein Sarshar Mar 12

- 18. • • • MICROSOFT PRESENTS CTRL+ALT+COMPETE Aims to inspire 20,000 viewers towards entrepreneurship 19 media representatives from 14 news/ business, technology publications 6 of them from print/ online publications; 7 magazines; 1 of them were from a prime time new station. Within 24 hours, the event secured 3 broadcast clips, 6 online clips and 3 print clips.
