- Good morning everyone, my name is Natalie Liao. I am a Knowledge Transfer Partnership Associate of the University of York. Currently I am leading a strategic innovation in the Technology Office of the Department of Health. And I am the Secretary General of the China Innovation and Development Association UK which is a main organizer behind the competition.
- Today, I am going to introduce you about five local cities in China and their government policies with regard to high-tech projects and entrepreneurship, in relation to the performance of last year competition’s six winners from both student and business strands. In addition, I would like to inform you what our association is currently organising and would be happy to receive your feedback or contribution.
- Local governments have strong appetites to support hi-tech projects. The main objectives of these Scheme are to attract high-level overseas talents, especially those with technology , projects or capital , and to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship. Down south a bit
