have been diagnosed with mental health problems, with
anxiety and depression topping the list. These alarming data
are the result of a series of global events that are shaping
this generation. Climate change, pandemic, war in Europe etc
- pick your favourite apocalypse.
We accept that the whole world seems to be on fire. We may
not be able to save it ourselves, but we can break the habit of
doomscrolling and despair. Scientific studies show that
people who volunteer feel happier in the long term.
We follow this feeling with the claim "Good feeling is 🔥".
Today's teenagers, born between
2004 and 2010, have been defined as
a fragile but passionate generation.
They are digitally savvy, socially aware
and pessimistic about the future and
their role in it.
Fortunately, there's Nadace Via and its
Dobro-druzi programme, which gives
them meaningful opportunities to
impact their communities, learn more
about themselves and just feel good
about it.
We are looking for 30 active groups
of teenagers on three of their
favourite channels to register their
own community project in the
Dobro-druzi programme.
We introduce our audience the reasons and benefits of
volunteering on the most popular Gen Z channels for fun
and communities. Not only that you are helping others,
you are helping yourself in the long run by feeling good
about being an active part of change.
Our set of channels will feed each other
with organic content once we are up and running.
TikTok is our platform for engaging with our audience. We will use
relevant influencers who had done some good deeds. They will
introduce and participate in the programme and share their feelings
about helping others. In the next step they will encourage their
followers to apply and share their good deeds with hashtag
#prodobrejpocit.
Discord is the place where we will operate and nurture our
community. Teams will discuss and share their experiences, tips,
memes and of course organise projects and workshops with Via
Foundation mentors. It erases the borders between regions and
turns Dobro-druzi into a community of the whole country.
Instagram account will serve for presentation of finished projects,
its outcomes and quoted experience of the teenagers involved.
