As the historical centre of the
region’s oil industry, Bahrain
was the obvious location for
the inaugural MEOS event in
1979 – the Gulf’s first oil and gas
show. Over the last 36 years the
exhibition has established a solid
reputation as a high quality oil and
gas industry event with a unique
calibre of attendees.
MEOS consistently attracts NOCs, IOCs
and major operators, in addition to specialist
suppliers, distributors and numerous new
entries to the Middle East market. The
exhibition provides a unique opportunity

of the most important hydrocarbon regions

The Gulf’s vast hydrocarbon reserves continue to make
it a hugely important region for the global petroleum

Bahrain was the first country in the Gulf
to discover oil in 1932. This pioneering
nation has been the meeting place for

Saudi Aramco’s headquarters in the Eastern
Province of Saudi Arabia is only a short drive
away. In addition, the GCC states of Qatar,
Oman, Kuwait and the UAE are all within a
