Letter Of Rec For Zakary 2
1. January 19, 2017
To whom it may concern:
This letter serves to document the character and accomplishments of Zakary McAlister, a Baker
University student athlete. I have become very close with Zakary over the past five years and I
am confident in validating his abilities to succeed in future career settings.
Zakary has been extremely involved in sports and school as long as I have known him. He
played up to three different sports at a time while attending Lawrence High School, and still
made satisfactory grades in the classroom. Zakary varsity lettered in both football and baseball
and was also on the honor role. He would always make a point to finish anything he started while
still doing it to the best of his ability. He was also a member of the chess club and ping pong
club. His diverse choices in extracurricular activities demonstrates his willingness to try new
things. He now is a baseball player at Baker University and still continues to succeed as a
Business Finance major. Zakary’s dedication to school, sports, and extracurricular activities
proves that he has the skills and credibility to succeed in any professional path of his choosing.
Zakary has also worked for the City of Lawrence as a Field Maintenance Attendant. It was quite
a time-demanding job with 40 hours a week being the minimum. He was extremely reliable and
was always at work on time, no matter the circumstance. Zakary takes direction well and is
always willing to try something out of his comfort zone. I express these comments in support of
Zakary McAlister as he completes his educational and athletic career at Baker University. He is a
phenomenal person all around and would be very successful in his future professional career. I
will supply further information about Zakary if necessary.
