I am a vascular biologist interested in elucidating the basic mechanisms underlying stress response of vascular cells and identifying new therapeutic targets and/or biomarkers. My research has been supported by AHA postdoctoral fellowship, and more recently by NIH K99 Career Development Award. My research integrates biology, bioinformatics, in vitro/in vivo models and pathophysiology. I am enthusiastic in teaming with researchers from a diverse background, particularly biochemists, bioinformatics and clinical medicine to conduct problem-based, hypothesis-driven biomedical research.
