2. This stage was the first bit of research we carried out
and conducted. We did 2 questionnaires and chose to
get a good range of ages for the first and then using
the information from that one we would select our
second questionnaire participators by the target
audience ages. We found that with the mixed age
one, older people struggled to tell us much as they
had never illegally downloaded, the only thing they
could say was that there children do it. This meant
that with the second set of question’s we were going
to aim it at younger people so that we could get
stronger feedback from people who actually
participate in the subject matter of the documentary.
3. In the questionaires we
asked about what people like
to see in documentary's i.e.
narration, title sequences, fly
on the wall etc..! We also
asked about there personal
involvement within “illegal
downloading” so we could
also use this information in
our documentary. Here is a
graph from the question “ do
you enjoy watching
documentary,s?”
4. We did this after we
had created our
documentary and
ancillary texts to see
what people thought
of the combination of
all three and weather
as a set they worked
well togeteher.Here
are the graphs to
show the results.

7. As you can see the feedback was all positive and
nearly 100% of people we asked would continue
watching are documentary after watching the
first 5 minuets. We also asked weather are
products combined well and again the feedback
from this was very positive, with only a few
comments with suggested improvements such as
“bigger font” which we as a team had decided we
wanted to keep smaller due to the amount of
information we could fit on the double page
spread. But overall we were extremely happy with
the feedback we recived.
