“I think IT projects are about supporting social systems - about
communications between people and machines. They tend to fail
due to cultural issues.”

atraerá a muchísima gente”

machines are intended to carry out any operations which could be done by
a human computer.”

5. La WEB Interactiva
The word "yahoo" is an acronym for "Yet Another Hierarchical Officious
Oracle".[13] The term "hierarchical" described how the Yahoo database
was arranged in layers of subcategories. The term "oracle" was intended to
mean "source of truth and wisdom“
The term VRML was coined by Dave Raggett in a paper called “Extending
WWW to support Platform Independent Virtual Reality”[3] submitted to
the First World Wide Web Conference[4] in 1994

7. 1995: Active Worlds, or AW, is a 3D virtual reality platform. The Active
Worlds client runs on Windows. Users assign themselves a name, log into
the Active Worlds universe, and explore 3D virtual worlds and
environments that other users have built. Users can chat with one another
or build structures and areas from a selection of objects. AW allows users to
own worlds and universes, and develop 3D content. The browser has web
browsing capabilities, voice chat, and basic instant messaging.
The program's original goal was to be the 3D-equivalent of a 2D web browser

8. Second Life is an online virtual world, developed by Linden Lab. A number of
free client programs, or Viewers as they are called in Second Life[1][2] are
used to use the Second Life world so the users in Second Life, called
Residents, can interact with each other through avatars. Residents can
explore the world (known as the grid), meet other
residents, socialize, participate in individual and group activities, and create
and trade virtual property and services with one another. Second Life is
intended for people aged 16 and over, with the exception of 13–15-year-old
users restricted to the Second Life region of a sponsoring institution (e.g.
school).[3][4]

visualización u objetos reales y virtuales y ayuda a localización y navegación
