I am a storyteller, practitioner and researcher guided by an overarching philosophy of 'Belonging Somewhere'. I help communities thrive by using energy management as tools to achieve strategic objectives. To do this, I nurture and foster communities of practice as a model for building capacity among municipalities, businesses and community organizations. And to do this, I turn to my ongoing PhD research that examines community energy planning and local energy initiatives in Ontario as new governance innovations. Through my community work, practice and research, I continue to deepen my sense of belonging with places I call home.
