digital services
and view CSPs as
a preferred partner.
Appetite for new digital lifestyle services is growing, as
is the desire to pay for them. For example, 71% of
millennials are prepared to spend $1,500, or more, to
make their home smart. And 43% see CSPs as the
preferred smart home provider, 10% higher than tech
companies.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Consumers are three times
more likely to use secure
digital payment services from
their CSP than an eCommerce
provider.

Apart from growth and profitability pressures, these include internal legacy operations, growing customer expectations and new marketplace interlopers. The uptake in digital services and consumers’ renewed trust in CSPs to keep them connected can open new frontiers for CSPs. Assume a central role in consumers’ digital routine, providing them hyper- personalized experiences and engaging digital services. Appetite for new digital lifestyle services is growing, as is the desire to pay for them. For example, 71% of millennials are prepared to spend $1,500, or more, to make their home smart. And 43% see CSPs as the preferred smart home provider, 10% higher than tech companies.
