ARGuing will help teachers use the Internet within language education. The project is funded by the European Union within the Lifelong learning programme. 2. ARGuing is based around an Alternate Reality Game An Alternate Reality Game uses on and offline elements as a type of 'Treasure Hunt' that the players can only complete collaboratively. What is ARGuing? The game was called, ‘The Tower of Babel’.

5. The final pilot was played between; 22nd April to 30th April 2009 By 328 student s 95 teachers from 28 schools in 17 countries ( Room could not be found for a further 78 schools ) The Tower of Babel

6. During the game the players: Uploaded 862 files (Audio, video, word, presentations, images) Submitted 9,135 answers across all the quests Posted 160 messages The Tower of Babel
