The document discusses how the stars may provide information and references several Bible passages on this topic. It notes that God named and calls each star, that certain constellations like Pleiades and Orion are mentioned in the Bible, and that figures like the Magi followed a star to find Jesus. The document suggests the stars may have conveyed messages about God's plans that people in ancient times understood better than people today.
2. Dan 12:3 “Those who are wise will shine like the
brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to
righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. 4 But
you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll
until the time of the end. Many will go here and there
to increase knowledge."

When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
What is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?
11. “In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the
prophets at many times and in various ways, but in
these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he
appointed heir of all things, and through whom he
made the universe.” (Hebrews 1:1-2)

stars.
He determined the number of the stars and calls them each
by name.

these? He who brings out the starry host one by one, and

14. Did God had the names of the stars in written
record?
Jude 14 Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied
about them:"See, the Lord is coming with thousands
upon thousands of his holy ones 15 to judge everyone, and
to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have
committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant
words ungodly sinners have spoken against him."

16. The Zodiac
Daniel 5:11 There is a man in your kingdom who
has the spirit of the holy gods in him. In the
time of your father he was found to have
insight and intelligence and wisdom like that
of the gods. Your father, King
Nebuchadnezzar, appointed him chief of
the magicians, enchanters, astrologers
and diviners.
17. The specific twelve constellations we recognize
today as the zodiac is referred to as the
Mazzaroth in Hebrew. We find this word used
in Job 38:32, which means the word was in use
extraordinarily early, as Job is probably the
earliest completed book of the Bible. In Job
26:13, Job says God formed the constellation
figures.
31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of
Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?32 Canst
thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season?or
canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?33
Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven?canst
thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?
18. Romans 10:
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?
And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not
heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching
to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As
it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring
good news!’
But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah
says, ‘Lord, who has believed our message?’ Consequently,
faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is
heard through the word of Christ. But I ask: Did they not
hear? Of course they did:
‘Their voice has gone out into all the earth,
Their words to the ends of the world.’
19. Paul quoted: Psalm 19.
The heavens declare the glory of God;
The skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
Night after night they display knowledge.
There is no speech or language
Where their voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out into all the earth,
Their words to the ends of the world.
20. Hebrews 1:3
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact
representation of his being, sustaining all things by his
powerful word.
if we allow Bible to explain Bible, there is something about
the heavens which declares Christ.
Look at the fourth line of Psalm 19: “night after night they
display knowledge.”
What knowledge? Whatever it was, Paul seems to indicate it
had something to do with everyone hearing the word of
Christ.
.
21. Rom 1:18 “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven
against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who
suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be
known about God is plain to them, because God has made it
plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world
God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine
nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from
what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”
22. Col 1:23 “if you continue in your faith, established and firm,
and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This
is the gospel that you heard and that has been
proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which
I, Paul, have become a servant.”
23. Abraham has no children. Both before the time described by
this passage and after, God has promised Abraham many
offspring:
Genesis 13:16 – “I will make your offspring like the dust of the
earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your
offspring could be counted.”
Genesis 17:5-6 – “No longer will you be called Abram; your
name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many
nations. I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of
you, and kings will come from you.”
24. Genesis 15:
After this, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision:
‘Do not be afraid, Abram.
I am your shield, your very great reward.’
But Abram said, ‘O Sovereign LORD, what can you give me since I
remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is
Eliezer of Damascus?’ and Abram said, ‘You have given me no
children; so a servant in my household will be my heir.’
Then the word of the LORD came to him: ‘This man will not be
your heir, but a son coming from your own body will be your
heir.’ He took him outside and said, ‘Look up at the
heavens and count the stars – if indeed you can count
them.’ Then he said to him, ‘So shall your offspring be.”
Abram believed the LORD, and he credited to him as
righteousness.
25. when the LORD tells Abram to ‘count’ the stars.
The word in the Greek is 'arithmos,' which is 'something as
reckoned up,' coming from 'airo,' meaning 'to lift, to take
up, to take away.' The meaning of 'arithmos,' is much wider
than 'count' and can mean 'enumerate' or 'reckon.‘ The
word translated 'number,' from 'if you can number them,'
has the prefix, 'ek' or 'ex' means 'among, because of,
between, from, by means of, etc.'
The word itself then is ekarithmos (or exarithmos).
In the Hebrew, the word which becomes 'count' in English
is 'caphar,' which means 'to score, to mark as a tally, to
record, to inscribe, to recount, to celebrate or
enumerate. Also to talk or to tell out.' It comes from a
root meaning 'a book' or 'a scroll.'
26. Isa 34:4 (NIV)
All the stars in the sky will be dissolved and the heavens
rolled up like a scroll; all the starry host will fall
Rev 6:14 (KJV)
And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled
together;
27. Bible explain Bible, then, there was something about ‘telling’
the stars that had to do with Christ, which Abraham
believed, and which was then credited to him as
righteousness.
Paul explains a bit about this incident in Galatians 3:16:
“The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The
Scripture does not say ‘and to seeds,’ meaning many people,
but ‘and to your seed,’ meaning one person, who is Christ.”
When God told Abraham ‘so shall your offspring/seed be,’
was God saying the Messiah would be Abraham’s offspring?
Was that what Abraham was to ‘tell’ in the stars?
28.
29. Abraham believed the Messiah’s sacrifice was in his
hands and that he would then see the resurrection as
well.
Isaac was spared by God even as Abraham’s hand was
raised to kill his son. And, using a picture of what
would happen years later, God told him that He would
provide the lamb.
There are some indications in the Bible that there is
something going on ‘up there’ in the sky that we no
longer are aware of, but that the people generations
long ago knew about.
30. The constellations themselves have been known from antiquity. Their
identities have remained basically unchanged, although a few of the ancient
large constellations have been divided up by modern astronomers into smaller
constellations. But for many, the identities remain. For instance, the
constellations of Taurus (the bull) and Orion appear in cave art dating back to
3000-2900 B.C.
31. Around 2700 - 2500 BC, the Sumerians recorded the existence of a “Tablet of
the stars of the heavens.” Sumerian Gudea Cylinder A (2300 BC) has clear
mention of many star groups or signs
32. The Sphinx. The famous sphinx, the giant lion with a woman’s head,
points exactly due east. It is so exact it cannot be an accident. The
name ‘sphinx’ itself comes from the Greek ‘sphiggo,’ meaning ‘bind
closely together. There are pictures of the sphinx, placed at the end of
the constellation Virgo and the beginning of Leo, with the head looking
to Virgo and the tail in Leo.

4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
5 It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
6 It rises at one end of the heavens

nothing is deprived of its warmth.

56. Matthew 2:1-7 (NIV) The Magi Visit the Messiah
1 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of
King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem 2 and asked,
“Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw
his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”
3 When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem
with him. 4 When he had called together all the people’s chief
priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah
was to be born. 5 “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is
what the prophet has written:
6 “‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least
among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who
will shepherd my people .. ’”
7 Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the
exact time the star had appeared.
