4. Our film is set in a dry, desolate forest where two unsuspecting bike riders are secretly being watched by a crazed killer. The Bike riders stumble across a dead body in the middle of the wood, as they examine the body they hear a rustling and see movement in the trees. At which point the two bike riders decide to leave. As they ride towards the exit, the killer is still stalking them following them, watching them, hidden within the forest. Our Film (Opening Plot)
5. Sounds (Diegetic And Non-Diegetic) There are many sounds which will be used in our production. There will be a heavy influence of non-diegetic sounds which will be used to enforce the transition between low intensity action and high intensity action. We will use a soundtrack to reinforce the change in pace. There will also be a use of diegetic sounds in the form of dialogue and also natural forest noises such as the rustling of leaves and the cracking of branches.
6. Distributor We Are Going To Use Film 4 is a British owned production company created by Channel 4. We would like to use film 4 as they have experience in distributing small British films, for example Trainspotting.
7. Target Audience The audience we are targeting our film at is the 15 to 18 age group as research into age groups show that teenagers aged 15 to 18 enjoy the thriller genre and often go to the cinema to watch a ‘scary’ thriller film.
