Dr. Benjamin Bloom 1950‘s created this taxonomy of thinking paradigms... \nHe found that 95% of test questions given to our students were recall knowledge- lowest level\nDefine, list, label\nits 2011 - has this changed? NO\n\nMajority of classrooms do not go beyond Knowledge and Understand-\nIf you get the “fun” teacher or “good” teacher you may get to apply your knowledge and possibly analyze the data you receive.\nThe GC GLH will provide a learning environment that encompasses all thinking skills but will have its main focus on the top of the taxonomy\n
Students entering schools next year will retire in the year 2071\nwe have no idea what 2071 will look like (we don't know what five years will look like)\n- yet we are educating to prepare them for their careers \nwe all are born with creativity- but we are educated out of it- in 2071- we will need to be as creative as we ever were\n\n
