In this session, attendees will work with facilitators and each other to build a value stream map for complex processes within our release train.
The goal is to walk away with a better understanding of our current processes and identify a few valuable improvements to make our lives better.
Presented at CA Agile Central Developer's Conference - AC/DC 2016.
4. Why are we here?
“In this session, attendees will work with facilitators and each
other to build a value stream map for common types of
changes (ex. Churro change) to Agile Central.
The goal is to walk away with a better understanding of our
current processes and identify a few valuable
improvements to make our lives better.”
8. What the heck is Value Stream Mapping?!
Value Stream Mapping is a visual approach to understand
all of the steps in a process - including handoffs, delays,
queues, and failures. Visualizing a process (which no single
person may fully know) helps to identify waste and
opportunities for improvement.
