– Comprometen personal + procesos (Accelerated diagnostic protocols
ADP)
55. Chest Pain Unit
• Orientada al paciente de bajo riesgo
• Evaluación inicial negativa (EKG y enzimas negativas)

76. Coronary CT angiography (CCTA)
RECOMENDACIONES

NOTES FOR PRESENTERS: Key points to raise: This slide outlines the diagnostic tests for people without confirmed CAD but who have: features of typical or atypical angina (slide 9) and stable angina is suspected but cannot be confirmed or excluded and the estimated likelihood of CAD is 10 – 90%. [See recommendations 1.3.4.4 –1.3.4.7 in the NICE guideline] It is important to note that exercise ECG is not recommended to diagnose or exclude stable angina in people without known CAD. [See recommendation 1.3.6.5 , given in full on slide 8] When considering which diagnostic test to use, take into account people’s: preferences and comorbidities risk from radiation exposure. Include the typicality of anginal pain and estimated likelihood of CAD in all requests for tests and in the person’s notes. [summarised from recommendations 1.3.4.1-1.3.4.3 in the NICE guideline] Related recommendations: Please refer to the recommendations about non-invasive functional testing in the NICE guideline: 1.3.6.1 –1.3.6.4
ADAPTING THIS SLIDE FOR LOCAL USE: We are aware that local factors such as incidence and baseline can vary considerably when compared with the national average. NICE has provided a costing template for you to calculate the financial impact this guideline will have locally. We encourage you to calculate the local impact of this guideline by amending the local variations in the template such as incidence, baseline and uptake. You can then remove the national figures from the table and replace them with your local figures to present to your colleagues. NOTES FOR PRESENTERS: The implementation of the recommendations in this clinical guideline are expected to have the combined effect of changing the overall number of each diagnostic test carried out in the investigation of chest pain of recent onset. These are expected to have the effect of increasing or reducing the total costs of conducting each type of diagnostic test for patients attending rapid access chest pain clinics. The change in total for each type of test is given in this table. More information can be found in the costing template and accompanying report, available on the NICE website. NICE has worked closely with people within and outside the NHS to look at the major costs and savings related to implementing this guideline. The estimated national annual changes in costs and savings arising from implementing the guideline on Chest Pain of recent onset are £4,719 for a population of 100,000, £2.4m in total for the NHS in England. NICE has produced a costing report that provides detailed estimates of the national costs and savings associated with implementing this guideline. NICE has also developed a costing template to calculate the local costs associated with implementing this guideline. The costs per 100,000 population are summarised in the table. For further information please refer to the costing template and costing report for this guideline on the NICE website.
