Windows Phone Statistics Report
This month we look in depth at the device usage in Colombia, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy,
Russia and India.
Globally, the Lumia 520 is still the most popular device in use but it’s position at the top looks
in jeopardy. The 630 continues to make gains in second place and the 530 has seen a big
increase in the last month.
Additionally, it looks like the new hit phone is born and India is at the forefront again.

Data Source
This report is based on data collected from 4,995 Windows Phone apps running
AdDuplex SDK v.2. The raw data analyzed was collected over the day of January 23rd,
2015 (UTC time) unless otherwise stated.
We have made every attempt to consolidate different reported phone model names
under their canonical retail model names, but it is possible that some of the rare model
name variations were not accounted for.
AdDuplex is the largest cross-promotion network for Windows Phone and Windows
Store apps empowering developers and publishers to promote their apps for free by
helping each other. AdDuplex was established in January 2011 in Vilnius, Lithuania. As
of January 2015, more than 9,500 apps actively use AdDuplex to gain more visibility.

Windows Phone Devices Worldwide

The top ten devices are all
the same as last month but
some positions have
changed.
The Lumia 530 has jumped
from tenth to fifth place and
the Lumia 635 has gone from
ninth to sixth position.
The Lumia 920 and 925 both
show small percentage
increases which bucks the
trend of the other devices
here where the older devices
have seen a decrease in
percentage size while all the
newer devices have seen an
increase.

in April 2014. Back then the
Lumia 520 dominated along
with 8 other devices running
WP7.
Nine months on and the
Lumia 520 still makes up
more than half of all devices.
The Lumia 710 and 505, both
WP7 devices, still hold
positions in the top ten.

the last two months. In
second place the Lumia 630
has gained 4.4%.

Looks like once again India is
