11. PREPARATION TO INVESTIGATE
VILNIUS
What “dark clouds” threaten to a future of a
city which survived since 13 c.?
e-Inclusion – could it help?
First of all – to know, to evaluate and take
activities for safeguarding the values
A great help – an Educational Resource Kit for
Teachers “World Heritage in Young Hands”
developed by UNESCO
12. PREPARATION TO INVESTIGATE
A visit to the site by the teacher(s)
Preparing a questionnaire in order to measure
the change in students’ knowledge, attitudes,
skills and behavior in site and its conservation
Preparing students for special types of
activities (recreating the past, telling stories
and legends about the site or drawings of it)
Plan the work that students will be asked to
do as follow-up to their visit
14. SUGGESTIONS
To use free available Teaching Kit adapting to
local situation and needs
The Resource Kit “World Heritage in Young
Hands” is available in many languages
The main aim is adaptation of it for needs
adult learning in project countries
Now let us continue our travel to Lithuanian
assets…
