This document summarizes the STaR Chart, which measures schools' progress in implementing technology according to the state's long-range technology plan. It shows that SMHS has made progress between 2005-2006 and 2009-2010 in moving from "Developing" to "Advanced" levels of technology implementation across three of four key areas, with the goal of reaching "Target" levels in all areas. Ongoing professional development and additional funding are needed to support teachers' technology use and meet students' technological needs, and partnerships could provide extra resources to help achieve the goal of giving all learners technology-driven, real-world experiences.

7. What do the results indicate? SMHS made progress from 2005-2006 through 2009-2010 In 2005-2006 the 4 Key Areas were classified as Developing Tech 3 of 4 Key Areas are classified as Advanced Tech during 2009-2010 Our goal and the state’s goal= Target Tech in all four key areas
