The title of the article, which was featured in Art Monthly in December – January 2005-2006, sums up what James is trying to get across to the reader. She is concerned in the constant topic of ‘TRUTH’ when it is concerned with the photographic process. To take all aspects of this into mind she goes through a history of photography through modernism, postmodernism and the present day at the time of 2006.
