2. The students of the Roman Czernecki Secondary School
in Słupia hosted in Spain
From 6 to 10 November 2012, at the invitation of the Institute
of Pere Vives Vich in Igualada in Catalonia (Spain), the delegation
of the Roman Czernecki Secondary School in Słupia participated
in the international project „Wordcrossing”. This project is being
implemented under the „Project Partnership School - Comenius
program”. School teachers were represented by Katarzyna Stępień -
project coordinator, Małgorzata Szwaja - a teacher of mathematics
and physics, and students: Marta Sobczyk, Justyna Wcisło, Paulina
Bratek, Patryk Raczyński. The meeting was also attended
by representatives of the five partner schools from Spain, Greece,
Turkey, Italy and Romania.
3. The purpose of the meeting was to include:
• knowledge of the participants
• identify and assign tasks to perform in order to implement the project
topic "Wordcrossing„
• set schedules for subsequent visits
• knowledge of the education system in Spain
• determine the functioning of the project website
• establish the principles of mutual communication with each other

Montserrat is a Benedictine monastery,
located in the mountain massif of
Montserrat in Catalonia 40 km northwest
of Barcelona. It is located on the bizarre
rock formations, 720 m above sea level.
There is a statue of the Christ’s Mother.
In 1811, Napoleon's army destroyed the
original twelfth-century monastery, and
the present church dates from 1874.
