Challenging Work
My ultimate career goal is to become an expert in software development. I want to be the one who can always help others.
I have worked with Tom, Todd and Dale for my supply chain military project. Tom was very supportive for my overall internship experience. Todd and Dale who are business analyst helped to get up to speed with necessary knowledge for my project.
I have also worked with Dan, Jeff and David for my appointment scheduling project. Dan was the key person for this project. Jeff and David help to understand what goal we are trying to achieved and help me with the code writing.
As I mentioned I have worked on military vendor sales reporting project. This is project is designed to be user friendly report and it is written in Structured Query Language. This project is shared with military in a website. It also confirms the service level which I am going to talk about in my next slide.
Talk more about sample. Define columns from left to right
AAFES- Army Airforce Exchange Service
AAFES Facility code is a 4-digit number that represents the store
Some vendors wants to use 7-digit code and some uses 4-digit code
As you can the service level on the right side. This service level is guaranteed by Supervalu. For example, 24 hr express have ordered 40 cases and we have shipped 40 items. By doing this we have confirmed our service level to 100%.
The next project is about appointment scheduling service.
TRICEPS- Warehouse Management System
C3- The company we are buying Appointment Schedule software
TIBCO- The Information Bus Company, It will be transporting data between the various systems.
Canonical- A canonical model is a design pattern used to communicate between different data formats. A form of enterprise application integration, it is intended to reduce costs and standardize on agreed data definitions associated with integrating business systems.
Developed a reporting tool specific to AAFES (Army, Air Force Exchange Service)military bases.
Improved the tracking of military sales and inventory of specific vendors items for specific types of military bases.
Developed framework that will allow a consistent data delivery from maintenance applications to downstream consumers(Triceps, C3).
Established the data latency from the SAL AS400 to Triceps, from once an hour to near real time.
