2. Thank you for attending today’s workshop. Smartphone, Internet
and computing has changed and enriched our lives in an infinite
number of ways. World events and our personal lives are recorded
and documented as they happen. Pictures, videos, and our
location may be instantly available to the world. Please be aware
of safety, security, and courtesy when using your smartphone.
Using a Smartphone is easy, fun, and rewarding. No sophisticated
programming needed. However, lots of curiosity is very helpful.

3. Texting doesn’t work with walking, driving,
and biking.
Remember the day when it could wait to the next pay phone or
until we got home and dialed on a rotary phone?

4. Passcodes: A secure passcode has capital letters, small
letters, numbers, and characters.
In Settings under lock screen – you may set a pin or
swipe to unlock your phone.
Buy a cover to protect your phone in the event it is
dropped.

If it’s lost or stolen – Easy Android Phone Locator
The EAPL (Easy Android Phone Locator) allows the positioning of your mobile phone via text
message. This app is for free and does not contain any ads! No Internet connection needed!
If your mobile gets lost, you can very easy determinate the location. It is enough to send a text
message to the phone. Automatic answer with Google Maps link will be sent.
