30 years international experience in the design and construction of tunnel and underground works and applied geotechnical and geomechanical engineering. During his career, Alex has worked on major tunnel projects across Europe, Asia, Australasia and the Americas, gaining an impressive and extensive experience in a broad range of tunnelling conditions, methodologies and project types, including involvement in projects for 11 subway and 6 railway systems, 16 road tunnels, over 17 mining underground infrastructure projects and 12 hydropower plant projects, among other projects for utilities and water.
