2. Temperature
In our testing for the temperature in group
7. We got a constant temperature of 7
degrees Celsius. Which is about 45
degrees Fahrenheight. When the water
temperature rises it’s easier for plants to
grow. There were a lot of plants living
around the water, meaning the mullet river
is a good living condition for plants around
3. Phosphates
Phosphates control the algae in the water.
Now since the dredged the river the
phosphates aren't in the water and now
there are no algae blooms in the water. It
causes the pH levels to go up and that will
cause toxics to get in water and kill the
wild life. It also cause the dissolved
oxygen to go down then the fish cant
4. pH Level
In our testing for the pH level we had
samples we got 7 for two of them and one
8.Since it is mostly around 7 that means it
is pure water and has no acid. It is the
best to stay around 7 because if it gets to
much acid or to basic it will kill all the
animals and plants in the water. Meaning
it’s a good living condition.
