  1. 1. SCHOLARSHIPS A. SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS 1. UniFAST Tertiary Education Subsidy TES—is a grant-in-aid program under Republic Act 10931 or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act, to support the students’ expenses in college. Who Can Avail Tertiary Education Subsidy? 1. Continuing Expanded Students’ Grants-in-aid Program for Poverty Alleviation ESGP-PA grantees 2. Students studying in private HEIs in cities/ municipalities with no existing state universities & colleges (LUCs) 3. Students who are part of households included in the Listahanan 2.0 and 4. Students rank according to estimated per capita household income based on submitted documentation of proof of income to be determine by the UniFAST Board. How to Apply in TES?  Enroll in the CHED recognized HEIs and programs in the CHED registry:  Once the UniFAST Portal is open for TES application, ALL enrolled students will be uploaded by the Scholarship Coordinator/IT staff to the portal. (BEED, BSBA, BSHM)  The UniFAST Board will conduct validation and will choose qualified grantees based on qualification criteria.  Wait for the call of the Scholarship Coordinator if you’re one of the qualified grantees. Basic Requirements  For new and old enrollees, kindly complete your student information needed in your SMIS account, student.pecit.edu.ph.  Input your active email address and contact number.  Inform the Scholarship Coordinator (SC), if you are part of the Indigenous People as well as to those member of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). Submit a certificate supporting your Indigence and/or 4Ps Certificate indicating the Household Number from the City Link.  If you are a Person with Disability (PWD), kindly inform the SC and present proofs. Those data will be needed in applying for TES.  For transferee students who are TES grantee from other schools, kindly inform the School Scholarship Coordinator and submit a Transfer Credential indicating you are a TES grantee or a Certificate of Scholarship. Reminder  The School Scholarship Coordinator will only process submission for TES applications. He/She no longer controls how the UniFAST choose their grantees.
  2. 2. 2. CHED SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS (CSP) a. Tulong Dunong Program – (TDP-TES) CHED-TDP is intended for the ongoing grantees and new applicants who are enrolled in any curriculum recognized programs of Private and Public Higher Education Institutions. b. Student Financial Assistance Programs Any incoming Freshmen/First year, transferee or an old student may apply at the CHED Regional Office under these programs:  FULL MERIT  HALF MERIT  PESFA  HALF-PESFA  TD00 Availment of the Scholarships  The availment of any CHED-CSP Scholarships is determined through availability of slots and it depends upon the list of students endorsed by CHED to the HEIs to be validated and billed.  The school will only validate the list of students given by CHED to check their enrollment status, Enrolled, Not Enrolled, Graduated, Transferred.  If slots are available for any of the StuFAPs, the CHED will request the HEI to submit eligible students that meets academic requirements with not less than 2.5 General Weighted Average. OVERSEAS WORKERS WELFARE AUTHORITY OWWA EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE B. INSTITUTIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS & DISCOUNTS a. Academic Scholarship For Freshmen Students with Honors, provided they will meet the requirements for every semester. Valedictorian - 98-100 w/ Highest Honors 100% discount on TUITION FEE only Salutatorian - 95-97 with High Honors b. 50% discount on TUITION FEE only c. d. Present a Certification indicating you graduated with honors. e. Requirement: No grades below 1.70 for every subject with a general weighted average of at least 1.50 for every semester. No failing grades. b. Cultural Scholarship 5 Scholars for Kantaw - 50% discount on TUITION FEE only 5 Scholars for Teatro - 50% discount on TUITION FEE only Provided that they have met the required academic requirement. No failing grades. c. Student Assistants Scholarship Student Assistants will be given 100% discount on TUITION FEE only. Submit a Letter of Intent to the HR in applying as a Student Assistant. *Existing policy still applicable for student assistants.

Sports Scholarship Rank Local Regional National Champion 5% 10% 20% Tuition Only 1st Runner up - 5% 10% Tuition Only 2nd Runner up - - 5% Tuition Only Student/Athlete can only avail one (1) discount which is the most beneficial to the student/athlete. The coordinator shall endorse to the administration the list of students who rank top 3 during the Local, Regional and National Sports events. e. SSG Scholarship (College Officers only) President - 100% discount on TUITION FEE only Vice President - 50% discount on TUITION FEE only f. Discounts For Students with 2 or more siblings, every sibling will be given 10% discount on their TUITION FEE only. For Students who will fully pay their TUITION FEE & MISCELLANEOUS FEE during enrolment will be given 10% discount on their TUITION FEE only. C.
