- Kennisnet is the foremost knowledge centre regarding information and communication technologies (ICT) and education in the Netherlands. Kennisnet’s mission is to support schools and educational facilities with independent services regarding the effective and safe use of ICT, thus improving the quality of teaching and learning. In this regard we provide high quality services which are flexible and respond to the needs of education
- Why is education so resistant to change? Over the next decade will it undergo as radical a transformation as the music industry? If so, it will have to face some of the same issues, such as preserving copyright and maintaining quality, and also some unique ones such as assessing learning in the field and bridging the gap between formal and non-formal education. We urgently need to address these issues if learning is to meet the challenges and opportunities of the mobile age.
- The Global Competitiveness Report The GCN's flagship publication is The Global Competitiveness Report (GCR). It is the most comprehensive and authoritative assessment of the comparative strengths and weaknesses of national economies, used by governments, academics and business leaders. The GCR was first published in 1979 and its coverage has expanded each year since, now extending to 134 major and emerging economies. Further expansion of coverage is planned. - De wereld globaliseert, alles staat met elkaar in verbinding Internationaal georienteerde kenniswerker is belangrijk in de regio, landelijk en voor onze positie in de wereld De Kennisinvesteringsagenda (KIA) is een langetermijnagenda en berust op de drie pijlers van de kennissamenleving; een zo goed mogelijk opgeleide beroepsbevolking, versterking en betere benutting van onze kennisbasis en versterking van het innovatief vermogen en ondernemerschap. Het gaat om het versterken van de hele kennisketen: van voorschoolse educatie en een leven lang leren tot excellent wetenschappelijk onderzoek en innovatief ondernemerschap. Nederland ligt niet op koers met het realiseren van de Kennisinvesteringsagenda om in 2016 een toonaangevend kennisland te worden en hét land van talenten te zijn.
