4. Prototype « schematics »
One project ask us to :
• Produce schematic diagrams to his own needs,
• Keep this schematic diagrams up to date,
• Keep the link with our network repository
What we have done :
• Collect geographic data to complete our network
• Run ESRI schematics to generate schematic diagrams
• Imagine an access to a schematic diagrams library for all projects
• Prototype a solution to end users

7. Conclusion
Our prototype is accepted by end-users
• Capitalization : we prove that we can reuse all the works we have
done for the past years (e.g: webmapping / railview)
• Production : we use ESRI Schematics, we have to maintain
network repository / cartography & schematics for our whole
network
But we still have a lot of question …

We have an opportunity here to
Collect the needs of european railway networks managers
And then work with ESRI to
• Be involved in Schematic's roadmap
• Improve schematic builder for railway
