Creating a
Gmail account

2. How do you get a
gmail account?
Let me show you.
Firstly, key in this URL :
http://www.google.com/

3. http://www.google.com/

4. Then,
click
this.
http://www.gmail.com/

5. Once you click on the gmail option,
this page will appear. Click on this

6. Then when this page appears, fill in
the details.
This is your user
name. The name
you have to use
when you log in.
For example, if you
type in 'ame'.
Then your address
will be :
ame@gmail.com

7. Your login /
user name
cannot be
too short.
It must be
between 6 and
30 characters.

8. You have to click this to
see if the login name is
available or if the name
has already been used.
This shows the name
you have chosen is
available and you can
use it.
So the gmail address is :
ameertha29@gmail.com

9. Key in your
password.
Then, key in the same
password here.

10. Here you have to
choose a question
and a corresponding
answer. This is a
question that will be
asked if you forget
your password.
Key in your backup email
address such as yahoo or
hotmail address. If you
forget your password, the
password or verification
code will be sent to this
email address. You can
leave it empty if you do not
have any other email
addresses.

11. You can choose
any question.
You can even
create your own
question such
as 'My date of
birth' or 'My
favorite song,
movie'
and so on.

12. When you have filled in the
details, click this

13. When you have successfully
filled in the details,
this page will appear.
Click this to continue.

14. Your inbox will then appear.

15. Everytime you want to log into your gmail account,
you have to key in your user name in full.
For example, ameertha29@gmail.com
Then key in your password.

16. So that is how you get a
gmail account.

for your own blog.
