4. The three newspapers portray themselves in different ways 
as the difference in style and layout is obvious for everyone
to see.
The „Ealing Gazette‟ has the look of a tabloid and broadsheet
because of it use of fonts and layout. Furthermore, the use
of catastrophic type fonts and the wide variety of colours
introduce on the front page may give viewers the idea of
this paper being more about life, events and gossip. The
masthead looks like London Evening Standard also supports
the reasoning of this newspaper being a tabloid paper.
Although, there are various different colours on the front
page of Ealing Gazette, the lack of creativity with the fonts
lets this paper appear a more formal newspaper and that it
should only be bought by those interested in topics such as
politics, government and not interested in gossip cultures.

the following newspapers. and also may give us
more insight in to who the exact target audience
is for these papers. However, to any audience
lovers who are interested with events, community
stories the are directly towards buying Ealing
Gazette. However, the headline of the local
newspaper are sometimes related to happenings
around the area, by concluding this story isn‟t a
formal area.
Broadsheet newspapers like The Guardian and 
London Evening Standard are often filled with
writings and although Ealing Gazette has pictures
and adverts on its front page it also has a lot of
writing. The two newspapers front pages are
filled with writing and pictures, yet small adverts.

6. On the other hand, The Guardian has 
one long image but surprisingly it
does not correspond with the main
headline of the newspaper
Another function of pictures Ealing 
Gazette, LES and The Guardian readers
can get a better idea of story and
sometimes helps them to visualise
they story or scenario without
knowing, makes viewers more
interested to buy the newspapers.

The masthead doesn‟t look similar to The Sun
and Metro two newspapers Because the font is
plain, yet not passionate also supports the
reasoning of this newspaper being a broadsheet
paper. Although, there are various different
colours on the front page of Harrow Observer,
the lack of creativity with the fonts lets this paper
appear a more formal newspaper and that it
should only be bought by those interested in
topics.

with regular events, community stories the
are directly towards buying Harrow Observer.
On the other hand, for the two tabloid
newspapers are targeted mainly uneducated
and youths.
 However, the headline of the local newspaper
are sometimes related to happenings around
the area, by concluding this story isn‟t a
formal area .The three newspaper identically
have the same headlines as in large fonts to
gain and attract audiences easily.

9. .Tabloid newspapers like The Guardian and
London Evening Standard are often filled with
huge headlines and short writings and
although The Harrow Observer has pictures
and adverts on its front page it also has a lot
of writing.

10.  I finally analysed and relaised each different
types of newspapers such as ret top, mid
market, broadsheet, local and tabloid
newspapers, on what they include or not.
Because I am constructing a local newspaper I
must concentrate on what stories and fields I
must include./
