Yoon-Woo Lee is the CEO and Chairman of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. He has over 40 years of experience at Samsung, having held several leadership roles in the company. He graduated from Seoul National University with an engineering degree in 1969 and has helped build Samsung into the world's largest electronics company through his leadership and technology expertise. Under his leadership, Samsung surpassed Sony in 2005 to become the largest consumer electronics brand, overtook Motorola in 2007 to become the second largest mobile phone maker, and overtook Siemens and HP in 2009 to become the largest technology company worldwide.
