- 7. Idea The wall is covered by thousands of people's chewing gum in Seattle's Post Alley. Apparently the sticking of gum on wall started in the 90's while patrons waited in line for buying theater tickets. Numerous attempts were made to 'clean up' the alley by removing off the gum, but things didn't work out & above are the results. The gum spread into a Seattle tourist attraction.
