wide social differences.
5. Oriental Society
• It is located in the centre
and east of Asia.
• It is related to ancient
cultures (Hinduism,
Buddhism and
Confucianism)
• There are many
languages: Hindi, Urdu,
Japanese, Mandarin
Chinese, etc.
• Economic situations vary,
but most of the countries
are not very developed.
6. Muslim Society
• It is predominant especially in
North Africa and western
Asia, although there are
Muslim minorities in the
other continents.
• It is linked to the Islamic
religion.
• The most important language
is usually Arabic.
• It is found in developed
geographical areas (some
areas of western Asia) and
less-developed areas, such as
most of North Africa.
7. African society
• It predominates south of
the Sahara Desert.
• There are many cultures
of tribal origin.
• Many indigenous
languages are spoken. In
some African societies,
there are large groups of
Western minorities.
• It is generally found in
geographical areas that
are less developed.
