jobs and the related qualifications necessary for one to perform them. The process involves use of
methods and procedures to determine the duties, responsibilities, working conditions, working
relationships, and required qualifications.

It is important to note that not one single technique may be suitable but rather a blend of
techniques based on a company's needs and time constraints. The information gathered from the
job analysis process can be used for future job analysis, but tailored to fit that specific role/need.
This article also points out that it is important that the person(s) doing the job analysis' be
properly trained in job analysis techniques, be good with people, and have knowledge of the
