4. To talk about an action that began in
the past and has not finished in the
present, we use it with prepositions
For and Since .
• He has lived in California for five
years.
• They have worked in California since
2005.
5. A menudo el presente perfecto se utiliza con los
adverbios just (justo, acabar de hacer
algo), yet (aún),still (todavía), already (ya), ever (alg
una
vez), never (nunca), recently(recientemente), lately
(últimamente), so far (hasta aquí), up to now (hasta
ahora).
